“ El mejor lugar para comer es este en todo Washington Height!! Su comida es buenísima, sabe muy bien, sus porciones son grandes y el precio excelente!! Esas mujeres son un amor, el mejor servicio te brindan! ”
“ I don't know why this place only has 3 stars; their food is amazing!! Only place in a 5 mile radius that consistently serves chicharrón &pernil made to perfection. .... And those maduros? they've turned into an art form . Pay no attention to the reviews or even mine for that matter . With unbelievably affordable prices just go eat there to find out for yourself. any time any day 24/7 . Who else is preserving NYC's dying reputation as the city that never sleeps? (that in itself deserves 5 stars! ) ”
“ Mambi is my regular spot. You can't beat a FRESH, DELICIOUS, WELL MADE Dominican lunch or dinner. My boyfriend and I usually end up spending $30 here and leaving satisfied with full bellies. I love the service, everyone is wonderful. And the atmosphere is very familiar and homey. The bars in the back, pickup orders in the front. You know the drill, come in, enjoy yourself and eat. ”
“ This is my second time here. Came all the way out Washington Heights specifically for this restaurant all the way from Miami. Love everything about this restaurant. ”
“ A block from United Palace and it was nearly midnight. Dishes looked similar to what we would get from a Filipino carinderia, but we were in the Heights. Dishes in trays lined up the length of the wall facing the counter table. I pointed at a chicken stew and yellow rice and asked for a can of Coke. The place seemed bigger now. There was a small bar, too which I didn't notice before - years before. The staff was all friendly. I heard a catchy tune playing, "...mi ex tenia razo-on", her voice had a certain charm to it. I had a glimpse of their tv and it said: Karol G. I must add that to my playlist. We finished our meal in no time and bought tres leches to go. My husband thought his lechon asado was just ok, but I finished my chicken with relish. At home, I enjoyed the cake with coffee. ”
